Betty
OT Liaison, OTR/L | Occupational Therapy
Betty is an occupational therapist and has been practicing in pediatrics since 2019. Betty received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California. Betty first fell in love with occupational therapy during a volunteer opportunity in high school when she saw firsthand how simple adaptations could impact people’s lives. Betty highly values the relationship and collaboration with families/caregivers. She believes in capitalizing on children’s unique strengths and interests in the context of play to meet their therapeutic goals. She has special interests in sensory integration, feeding, and play-based interventions. Betty received her SIPT (Sensory Integration Praxis Test) certification and Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention for patients with oral motor difficulties. Betty continues to enjoy helping children and their families reach their goals. Currently, she serves as an OT Liaison. Outside of work, Betty is an outdoor enthusiast and loves traveling, camping, and hiking, but also enjoys staying indoors as a plant mom.
